We got to our hotel in Franklin (Nashville), TN safe and sound. Katelyn fell asleep in the car 14 minutes after we left the house. We let her sleep for a little over an hour and then we stopped at a McDonald's and bribed her with french fries to wake her up. We were afraid that she'd never go to sleep tonight if she slept much longer. Once it got dark she watched a dvd and put on her headlamp and read books. It was just about the cutest thing I've ever seen. She is such a good traveler that a road trip is never anything but fun...
Katelyn hasn't stayed in a hotel in 2 1/2 years. Anytime we've gone anywhere we've stayed with friends or family. We told her it was a big sleepover. She was so excited...and of course the first thing she wanted to do when we got here is jump on her bed. :)

After a while she wanted to get her pajamas on and go to bed. She laid there for a while and finally passed out. I love this girl!
We've got another 7 1/2 hours to go tomorrow...but so far so good.
Florida here we come!
