Congratulations on your referral. Your daughter is just beautiful!! I just thought you might like to know that Wan is actually her personal name (what western people would consider the equivalent of a 'first' name). Bi is actually her generational name which traditionally is the name shared by all the siblings in a family (in Chinese orphanages this name is sometime shared by all the children of a particular month or year). Congratulations again. I hope you get to travel very soon.

I read your post or RQ on Jan 31. I waited to send this because this blog hadn't been updated and I didn't want to spoil any surprises! I cannot even comprehend how ecstatic you 2 must be. DH and I are LID 4-21-06. You know the story long, long, long wait. I dream of the day that we will finally see our little girl's face. I am sitting here crying tears of joy for you and your family. Like you said, we too have set ourselves up for disappointment by guessing when the referral might come. Look, now you are SO surprised, and you will be seeing her face so soon. God is good to us. Everytime I get discouraged I remind myself that God has our daughter picked out for us. The match will not be random but that match will be designed by God's hand. God chose you for Katelyn and He chose Katelyn for you-a match made in heaven you might say.I will continue to watch your site, I can't wait to see her face. You and your family will be in my prayers every day.
